From Highway 50, take the Watt Ave. north exit. Turn right onto Fair Oaks Blvd. Take Fair Oaks Blvd. to the intersection with El Camino Ave./Van Alstine Ave. Turn right onto Van Alstine Ave. Turn left onto California Ave. Turn right onto Tarshes Drive. Tarshes Drive enters the Parkway. Once you've entered through the kiosk please drive around the golf course and park in the first parking lot to your left. (Do not turn at the stop sign headed towards Effie Yeaw Nature Center.)
The American River Parkway Foundation provides all needed supplies. Please dress accordingly--long pants, sneakers or boots (that can get dirty), and a hat and sunscreen.
You must be at least 14 years of age to participate in this event. Minors between the ages of 14 and 18 must bring the youth waiver.
