SACRAMENTO COUNTY - One person is dead after a car crashed into a school house in Rancho Cordova Tuesday afternoon.

Two people were in the car when it crashed into the building near Bradshaw Road and Lincoln Village Drive around 3:15 p.m., Sacramento County sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos said. The person killed in the crash was in the car; the other person ran from the scene.
