Sacramento Regional Science & Engineering Fair | Fun

Join News10 and Sac & Co as we celebrate The Annual Sacramento Regional Science & Engineering Fair on March 9^th! Hundreds of creative students from throughout the Sacramento region will compete in the Fair at Rosemont High School in Sacramento.

Each year, the Sacramento Regional Science & Engineering Fair produces winners that go on to shine on the international stage.  In 2012, our Grand Prize winner placed first in Energy and Transportation at the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair, which draws more than 1,600 students from 59 countries. 

Participants compete in junior (6^th - 8^th grade) and senior (9^th - 12^th grade) divisions for a chance to win scholarships, awards and prizes.  The students come from schools in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, San Joaquin, Yolo, Yuba, Sutter, Solano, and Amador counties. 

The Fair also features informative workshops for teachers and college-bound students.
