Rancho Cordova, CA - Two gang members were sentenced to life in prison for murdering three young men in Rancho Cordova last year.

21-year-old Francisco Delgado and 24-year-old Juan Aucencio were sentenced by a Sacramento County Superior Court judge on Friday.

Prosecutors said the shootings occured after the men were beat up by rival gang members. Deputies said the men wanted revenge but couldn't find the people who beat them up, so they drove up behind a group of three young men on bikes and shot them in the backs - killing all three.

The victims are 15-year-old Jamir Miller, 16-year-old Richard Ward and 20-year-old Robert Corpos. All of the young men were related. Both Corpos and Miller had just become fathers.

"I look at my grandson every day and he no longer has his daddy, or his uncle, or his cousin in his life" said Miller's mother Melissa Jellison.  "They were three very important people in his life.

Prosecutors said Delgado and Aucencio are in the country illegally and that both have pending immigration customs enforcement (ICE) holds.
