Christmas in Cordova returns for its second year on Saturday, December 15 to assist less fortunate Rancho Cordova families during the holiday season.
A toy drive is taking place through Monday, December 3 that will provide gifts for parents to holiday “shop” for their children at the event. Rancho Cordova City Hall has been added as a donation drop off site for new, unwrapped toys. A collection bin is accessible in the first floor lobby, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 2729 Prospect Park Drive. Monetary donations will be used to purchase toys, food for the meal, and other event supplies.
Last year, more than 600 families participated for 1,600 children.
