Volunteer Opportunities

We still need volunteers to fill the following slots for our annual fundraiser

Down River Day
Saturday, August 4th
 River Bend Park

1:30pm to 3:30pm--Ice Cream Cart assistant

3:30pm to 6:30pm--Ice Cream Cart assistant

4:30pm to 7:30pm--Event Cleanup

There is also an event Saturday till noon for Oak Grove maintenance at River Bend Park.  Formerly known as Goethe Park, it's located at the end of Rod Beaudry Dr off of Folsom Blvd.

Directions:  From downtown, take US 50 to Bradshaw. Left on Bradshaw to Folsom and turn right. Go to Rod Beaudry Drive (second light) Turn left. Go to the park entrance, pass the kiosk. Turn right into the first parking lot.  

We will provide parking passes.

What to bring:   Wear a hat, long pants and boots or sturdy tennis shoes.   We provide tools and gloves.
